Contact-less Combination Lock Prop
The combination lock prop features a removable puck that the player must first locate. Because the puck is decoupled from the rotational sensor, there's no risk of broken knobs.
On power-up and reset, the prop will illuminate two red LEDs to indicate the prop is active and unsolved. When the puck is placed in the recess, the display activates. The prop then begins checking for the previously programmed combination. As the puck is rotated, the number on the display will increase or decrease. Every time the puck changes direction (from clockwise to counterclockwise, or vise versa), a new number is stored in memory. The red LEDs will also flicker to indicate the number has been stored. When the sequence entered matches the solved sequence, the prop will solve. When solved the red LEDs will turn off, and the green LEDs will turn on. The two relays will switch from high (com and no connected) to low (com and nc connected), and the solved output pin will close to ground.
